JamesEdition is the largest luxury marketplace for high net-worth individuals in the world.

With over 1,5M monthly visitors browsing a curated catalog existing of 15 categories ranging from high-end real estate and timepieces to yachts and private jets.

JamesEdition has continuously thrived in the world of luxury. Yet, despite their unparalleled success in the luxury space, they recognized an untapped opportunity to expand their presence on social media.

And so, the ambitious & exciting challenge arose:
“How can we effectively position a luxury brand in today’s social media landscape, both maintaining its luxurious appeal and maximizing its potential to go viral?”

THE Approach

When we teamed up with JamesEdition, we faced some exciting challenges:

How do we keep this high-end luxury brand feeling prestigious in today’s modern social media culture while appealing to both the elite millionaire club and a global audience?

Operating as a remote online marketplace, JamesEdition lacked a physical location for content creation, posing difficulties in both shooting content and adding a personal touch to its content.

Oh, and did we mention we wanted to dominate multiple social media platforms at once?

But fear not! We are New Age Media, and finding solutions is our superpower.

Here’s what we did:

Leveraging the Short-Form Video Trend:
As of now, almost every platform supports short vertical video formats. By embracing this trend, we crafted a single strategy that effortlessly extended across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, without compromising on performance.

Unleashing the Power of Online Tools:
We got creative with tools like Google Earth Studio, stock footage, and JamesEdition’s existing content, testing diverse formats across platforms.

The goal was authentically presenting luxury-related topics while maintaining a high quality feel that represented the JamesEdition brand without feeling like an ad.

Creating Binge-Worthy content:
We skillfully leveraged storytelling principles, cleverly crafted copy, and masterful editing to keep viewers hooked, enticing them to indulge in a continuous watching spree.

THE PROCESS

We started with rigorous testing and strategic posting, quickly discovering winning formats on TikTok and Instagram. This success motivated us to further push the performance.

We improved by using emerging AI tools to give “James” a voice through text-to-speech AI models and introduced series like “the most expensive houses in the world,” driving exponential growth over the next two quarters.
